What’s Involved?

How do I commission illustration? How much will it cost?

Roughly speaking you can divide our business into two distinct approaches –

Digital and Traditional.

• Digital illustration is probably more suited to the rendering of detailed technical information.

• Traditional illustration in pencil, pen or watercolour lends itself to a more imaginative or abstract end product.

Please remember that we can also accurately copy other styles, so if you can’t see exactly what you are looking for in our online portfolio, please ask!

Expected final costs depend on your specifications, but include all meetings, preliminary work, assembling relevant information, production of roughs, alteration of roughs within the scope of the brief and production of finished illustrator/scanned Photoshop files.

You will only incur further costs if any changes or additional works are seen as additions to, or alterations from the original brief.

These changes are charged at the normal hourly rate of £31.25 (+ vat) per hour.
